Food Photography
Photography that looks as good as it tastes
Captured to drive reservations, orders, and trust
My work blends mood, color, and craft to elevate your menu, your team, and your guest experience.
Why pick me?
Food photography is my passion. I obsess over light, color, texture, and plating details. My style is refined and atmospheric with an emphasis on mood. I provide the kind of imagery that makes guests feel something before they ever walk through your doors.
Great food photography can increase interest in your menu, boost engagement on social, and influence where people choose to dine. Studies show that high-quality visuals can meaningfully improve click-through rates, order volume, and overall brand perception. This is especially true for restaurants offering premium dining experiences.
My job is to translate the quality you deliver in person into imagery that performs just as well online. I focus on the details your guests notice subconsciously: the warmth of the room, the richness of the dish, the way a cocktail catches the light. When your photos communicate that level of care, people trust your brand and feel more confident choosing you.
If you want work that feels polished, intentional, and true to your restaurant, I’d love to help you get there.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do you photograph full restaurants or just food?
Both. I offer full-service restaurant photography, including food, drinks, interiors, staff, ambiance, and exterior shots — all designed to tell your story visually.
Can you shoot during service hours or do you need the space to be closed?
Either works. I’ll work with you to schedule the shoot when it’s least disruptive — whether that’s during prep, before open, or around your regular service. I always have a flash kit for food photography, so I will need ample space for lighting and arranging.
What types of restaurants do you work with?
Everything from fine dining and upscale casual to cafés, bars, and boutique food brands. If presentation matters, I can help.
How many final photos do I get?
You’ll receive a curated gallery with fully edited, high-resolution images. Quantity depends on the shoot scope — I guarantee least 12 polished photos per hour which is included in my base hourly rate of $300.
Can you help with photos for online ordering platforms?
Yes. I provide clean, well-lit shots that meet requirements for platforms like UberEats, DoorDash, and Toast, as well as your website and social media. These can be shot on white or a more stylized scene.
Do you offer regular content shoots?
Yes — monthly or quarterly shoots are available to keep your feed fresh and seasonal. Perfect for Instagram, website updates, and limited-time offers.
How much does food photography cost?
Pricing starts at $300/hr and depends on the shoot size, location, and image usage. Reach out for a custom quote based on your goals.
Do I need to be present during the shoot?
Not necessarily. I can work independently with a point of contact, but having someone on-site is helpful for styling and approvals. Shoots tend to be much more productive when someone everyone knows is in charge.
What do you need from me before the shoot?
We’ll do a quick planning call or email to confirm your shot list, dishes, and schedule. Clean surfaces, styled plates, and a tidy space go a long way — I’ll guide you through it.
Do you bring your own lighting and gear?
Yes. I bring pro-level camera, lighting, and modifiers suited for restaurant spaces — including tight or dimly lit interiors.
Do I need to prep dishes ahead of time?
We’ll time dishes to look their best just before we shoot. I recommend a prep schedule and having garnishes and plating sharp and clean.
Can you style the food and space?
I offer basic styling as we shoot, and I’ll guide your chef or staff as needed. For more advanced styling, I can refer a food stylist.
How long does the shoot usually take?
Most clients feel that 2-3 hours covers their needs for a month. I’ll provide a timeline once we confirm your needs.
